Examples of activities  

ACTIVITIES for 2017:

Please bring other small craft art activities to share. You are welcome to 'charge' for materials used. We usually work with a koha system.

OPEN CIRCLE - Thursday 7pm.

RIDES IN HORSE & CARRIAGE - Sunday between 11am-2pm The Foxton horse drawn tram is out and about.  People can head up to Foxton for this (can car pool).  $2 a ride.

FOXTON WILDLIFE SANCTUARY - lizards and eels.  An eel growing pogramme - a lizard/gecko expert at 9:30am., Saturday  FREE but we would like to collect a small koha to present to them.  To be collected just before heading there as a group.

MARKET - 10am SUNDAY morning - for kids and adults alike.

FIRE PITS - bring your marshmallows and fav camp songs!  We need some fire guardians so please put your hand up if this is something you can offer to do.

CANDLE MAKING - Costs to be finalised.  (Please be prepared to pay for you childs creations as a number of children make wonderful creations but we tend to end up short $ wise.)

SCAVENGER HUNT - ALL week long yerrrrrrr

COFFEE - open daily espresso bar by AJ Travelling Coffee Co. Espresso making skills class SATURDAY afternoon.

YOGA - Random sessions whenever they happen :-)

POLITICS POW-WOW for anyone interested in chatting about the ins-and-outs of the political, constitutional and legal scenes of NZ, UK and USA

Wednesday 1st

Set up of camp by co-ordinators and anyone else interested.

Set up marquee, bunting, recycling and rubbish etc,

 

Kite Sports Free try-it-out evening.

 

Glen from Wind Warrior runs on Wednesday nights at the beach for all the kite sports.All welcome.Held at the Surf Club Foxton Beach.

 

Thursday 2nd

SCAVENGER HUNT - ALL week long yerrrrrrr

ROCK PAINTING WITH RAK ROCK DROP (random actos of kindness rocks with workds of kindness/love painted on placed at random for others to see)

 Talk about the Kuaka, then a walk around the estuary to look through telescopes and binoculars. Bring your own binoculars too.

The above activities will form the camps general rhythm - times are approximate and more information will be on a noticeboard in the marquee at the camp.  It will be updated daily at camp so check in with it there for places and times of activities.
